Magic Showers~Play Of The Day

Belmont Park Race 8

Today we will offer a second play of the day.
Magic Lion looks like the magic pick here off the claim. Should dominate the pace and draw off for fun. The track will be packed down in anticipation of showers. You can anticipate showers of cash when Magic Lion wins and you have him for monster bucks. This colt should be fresh fit and ready to roar. My key horse to cash the grand slam and other wagers.

Win #3 Magic Lion

Magic Lion won but by far it was the shortest priced winner of the year. This one was pounded down by the horseplayers from 5-2 ML to 4-5. It was more like a sprinkle than a shower.

Won like a 4-5 should...are you following up the ladder? If so, waiting for the cut back or can the May foal stretch out? By LION HEART out of a GULCH mare, seems to me like he'd find longer than a mile too demanding.

Magic Lion certainly could win next out but it will likely be without my money. Yesterday he had extraordinary advantages over this field. He was the only 50K claimer in field of 25K types and he was the only horse with real sprint speed on a packed down -they were anticipating rain- speed biased main track. I would recon next out he will run in an open N1X against quality speed on a less speed biased surface.
